About the Department of Employment and Labour
The South African Department of Employment and Labour (DEL) is a governmental body responsible for overseeing the country’s labour market and employment policies. It was formed in 2019 through the amalgamation of the Department of Labour and the Department of Employment and Public Works.
Key functions of the South African Department of Employment and Labour include:
