As registered midwife nurses at Life Healthcare Solutions, your responsibilities may include:
Prenatal Care:
- Providing comprehensive prenatal assessments and care to expectant mothers.

Labor and Delivery:
- Assisting with labor management and childbirth in hospital settings or at home births.

- Providing emotional support and pain management strategies to mothers during labor.
Postpartum Care:
- Conducting postpartum assessments for mothers and newborns.
- Offering guidance on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
- Monitoring for postpartum complications and providing appropriate interventions.
Patient Education:
- Educating patients on reproductive health, contraception options, and family planning.
- Promoting healthy lifestyles and preventive care practices for women.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborating with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
- Coordinating with social workers, counselors, and community resources to support patient needs beyond medical care.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements regarding patient care documentation.
Continuous Professional Development:
- Participating in ongoing education and training to stay updated on best practices and advancements in midwifery care.
- Pursuing certifications and licenses required to practice midwifery in your jurisdiction.
Advocacy and Support:
- Advocating for women’s health rights and promoting informed decision-making regarding childbirth and reproductive health.

Requirements:
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Nursing
- Nursing Experience in Maternity
- Current registration with the relevant professional or regulatory body
- Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players would be an advantage
- Computer proficiency
- Driver’s license and ability to travel
