About the Post

There are six available positions for Full-Time Contract Central Administration Clerks, situated at the Life Healthcare Head Office in Oxford Parks. These roles report directly to the National Complementary Services Manager – Patient Services. The individuals selected will be tasked with managing the entire administrative process, from start to finish, including billing, for all Renal Dialysis Treatments provided by Life Renal Care

Critical Outputs:

  • Accurately and timely onboard all renal patients onto the hospital management system.
  • Ensure authorization, billing, and submission of haemodialysis treatment modalities for Life Renal Care.
  • Manage renal treatment authorizations and escalation processes with insurance schemes.
  • Verify completed billing for treatment sessions and forward to relevant renal units for approval.
  • Assist renal units in submitting authorization requests for new Chronic Renal Dialysis patients.
  • Monitor unposted reports per renal unit to ensure timely completion of billing and claim submission.
  • Manage data for Business Intelligence to support renal billing creation.
  • Daily supervision of the renal billing error dashboard.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 completion.
  • Mandatory computer literacy, including basic proficiency in MS Office.
  • Familiarity with hospital processes, working procedures, and medical terminology is beneficial.
  • Outstanding communication skills and a track record of effectively interacting with both external and internal customers.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Previous relevant experience is advantageous.
  • Strong dedication to customer service and capability to manage tasks, plan, and perform well under pressure.
  • Familiarity with medical aid funder rules is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Excellent health condition.
